Neighborhoods That Evolve

A city isn’t static, and now Arvyn’s neighborhoods aren’t either. Each district has a character — historic, waterfront, downtown core, arts, emerging — and a slow, deterministic drift over game-years.

Emerging and arts districts tend to climb; mature suburbs hold. The effect feeds appreciation only — never occupancy — so the calibrated income model stays untouched, and the drift is bounded so values never run away.

When a neighborhood moves meaningfully, the world tells you: a research headline scrolls across the live ticker — "transit expansion approved," "school district ranking improved" — and the property page shows the district’s current phase.
